Task 1

Create a document in MS Word or alternatively in Openoffice, LibreOffice or LaTex.

Tasks:

  1. On the Internet, find the appropriate article that will be 2 to 3 pages long when using Font 10. I recommend inserting it as plain text. Anyone who does not find enough lengthy text can put more shorter ones.
  2. The left and right margins of the page will be 13 mm wide each.
  3. In the document, create at least two main headings and two subtitles (heading 2) of chapters with automatic multi-level numbering.
  4. At the beginning of the document, there will be a title and underneath the name, surname and e-mail address of the student - both centered , the title in bold type, the second line in italics.
  5. The rest of the text till task "i" will be formatted into two columns and justified.
  6. Read the article briefly and write an abstract at the beginning of the first column in italics ( abstract )
  7. Find an image on the Internet, first save it to file and then insert it into your document (for example, in the middle of the column height between the two paragraphs ).
  8. Insert numbered title below the picture
  9. At the end of the document, in the area that is not formatted as two columns, place a table as example here.
  10. Enter the equation below the table, also according to the teacher's proposal (use the Equation Editor). For a distant study, use example on this link.
  11. Adjust the position of the equation using tabulators to center, insert numbering to the right end of the line, in this case "(1)" (one in parentheses without quotation marks). Alternatively, you can use the table of one line and two columns instead of tabs for equation layout and numbering
  12. At the end of the document, draw a simple drawing as instructed by the teacher.
  13. Display and fill in the header and footer . In the header, the student's name and surname will be left, and the title of the article on the right.
  14. The entire header will be underlined with a simple thin line, the title of the article will be placed using tabulators.
  15. In the footer, the page number will be in the format "page 3 of 5" - the numbers must be entered by the field.
  16. The header does not appear on the first page.
  17. Insert a section break (or at least a page break) and generate the table of content.
